The hardest part of building a financial plan is actually realizing what brings you true joy and then (sometimes) making sacrifices to build the life you really want, now and in the future.

This talk will focus on building a financial plan that you will actually implement through thick and thin. We’ll cover a simple business and personal budget you 
can actually stick to in “real life,” how to think about investments in a way that 
won’t drive you nuts, and, of course, how to optimize your tax plan as a 
self-employed agent.

Financial planning is an iterative process. We will make a guess about the future, take a step forward, incorporate new information, and repeat, over and over. 
Haven’t “gotten good at finances” yet? No problem! There’s always room to start 
your journey.

This education event is one of the most engaging, informative, and impactful events for Realtors® in Austin every year. Sarah Ponder, CFP®, is one of the featured presenters with a talk entitled "What if you were to die with $0?"
